CHENNAI: Scores of Army men on Sunday gave a ceremonial farewell to Area Commander (ATNK & K) E. J. Kochekkan.
Major General Kochekkan, who completed an illustrious career spanning 37 years, had as Area Commander developed a close rapport with the civilian administration and coordinated various welfare activities of serving and retired Army personnel.
Major General Kochekkan’s successor is Nitin Kohli.
